The AquaBlox is designed to replace up to 90% of the gravel traditionally used in Pondless Waterfall reservoirs.

The AquaBlox water matrix can hold about 7.4 gallons of water per cubic foot, versus 2.2 gallons per cubic foot with an all gravel basin. Extra water capacity means less maintenance in refilling the Pondless waterfall basin, and easier yearly cleaning.

The ability to hold more water per cubic foot means basins can be made smaller, resulting in less labor for excavation, less gravel, and less liner.

The load capacity of a finished basin is about 32psi.
